About Mitch Case
Mitch Case is a former Connecticut All-State player and and Little East Conference #1 Doubles Champion. He has been a tennis instructor since 1998 and a racquet stringer since 1995.
In 2005, Mitch decided to take his passion for tennis and make it his full time career. After working as a assistant/staff pro and the Norfolk Country Club, and as private coach for high performance high school players, he became certified as a Pro by the Professional Tennis Registry in 2006.
In addition to teaching privately and at the Norfolk Country Club from 1998-2008, Mitch also coached the Shepaug Valley Regional High School Boys Tennis Team from 2006-2008, and was the Director of Junior Player Development at Pinewoods Health and Racquet Club.
Currently, Mitch is the Director of Tennis at Woodridge Lake in Goshen, CT during the summer season; a Staff Pro at Pinewoods Health and Racquet Club and Farmington Valley Racquet Club during the indoor season; and the Head Coach of the Northwestern Regional High School Boys Tennis Team during the spring season.
In addition to his PTR Certification, Mitch is also an Etcheberry Certified Fitness Coach, and United States Racquet Stringers Association certified Master Racquet Technician. In his career as a coach, he has taught along side other great coaches/pro players, including Tom Gullikson, Tim Mayotte, Johan Kriek, Jared Palmer, and Taylor Dent.
